When you think of spas, you probably think of the traditional sit-in spa pool, a timber-clad cabinet sitting on a deck; a great place for relaxation. However, spas have come a long way over the years and no longer is this the complete picture. While spa pools are designed with relaxation, massage, and rejuvenation in mind, swim spas have grown in popularity too. A swim spa is much larger than a spa pool, longer, wider and deeper, they are akin to a high-end plunge pool with additional features. Many swim spas still offer spa pool-style massage seats or recliners at one end, while the other is a dedicated plunge pool with swim jets for playing and exercise.
You might be asking, if a swim spa is just like a small pool, why not get a pool? Great question! A swim spa has many features that are not found in a traditional pool....
For starters, they’re stand-alone units that do not require additional plumbing or separate pumps, filters, and other equipment. Whether you bury yours in-ground, surround it with a deck or leave it as an above-ground pool a swim spa is much easier and cheaper to install than a traditional pool.
Second, because of the swim jets you can walk, jog or swim as long and fast (or slow) as you like, with no need to turn at the end of each lap. To get the same workout in a traditional pool you need a much larger pool. Larger pools usually need to be in-ground and this is expensive, and takes up a lot of space, not to mention the additional work to maintain such a large pool.
Finally, with the benefits of spa jets and air bubblers, swim spas can be used for relaxation after a long day, or recovery after a hard workout, making them far more versatile than an ordinary pool.

This model allows the kids to play while the adults relax, without the splashing and water flow from the swim spa disrupting the enjoyment of the spa pool users. This model is great because no one needs to compromise and there will never be a question about whether to use the swim spa or spa pool, each is powered by its own dedicated pumps and filters. Control the speed, flow, power and temperature of both the swim spa and spa pool completely separately.
Plunge Pools : For those who do not need to full flow of competition-level swim jets or just want a plunge pool with some extra benefits, our plunge pool range is perfect. These spas still provide lower-powered swim jets that can be used for low-intensity exercise or for young children to learn to swim against. Plus they offer enough space for the family to relax and play in summer, without having any of the space taken by additional massage recliners or other spa pool features. This is a great option for those who already have a dedicated spa pool and are looking for a pool for the kids
